Is your recruiter one of the good guys? Two ways to approach this; firstly, is there anything you’re genuinely interested in about the company or role which the interviewer hasn’t covered off? Great, ask away.

If not, you may need to think a bit harder about this. You need to ask some questions – it just makes you appear disinterested and disinteresting otherwise.

So, if you’re struggling, try to think about what the interview has mentioned during the interview – what did they seem to get more excited about when you were talking? Ask them about these things – chances are, they think they’re important.

Far better to take this approach than preparing scripted questions – keep things natural, be interested and interesting.
